[edit] i fergot: 10 random things only few people know about you.
- i'm currently into calvin harris, justice and (i just realized this a while ago) dragonette, because their songs make me jump on my bed. (jumping on my bed is something i do daily, preferably with my ipod on one hand, a cigarette on the other)
- i wanted to become a surgeon when i was five, because my dad would often take me to the operating room with him, and then we'd have pizza after each operation. i wanted to become a paleontologist/archeologist/anthropologist when i was about seven. i wanted to become a forensic scientist/geneticist when i was twelve. all because i watched too many discovery channel specials. i wanted to become a painter/animator/film maker/comic book author when i was fifteen, since i loved to draw, read, and watch movies. plus i used to watch anime 24/7 and i used to collect comic books. (most of these comic books are now hidden in the rooms of the people who conveniently forgot to return my comic books after borrowing them. hmph.)
- i used to sleep a lot. and it didn't take me long to fall asleep. now i need sleeping pills.
- i can see the whimsy, humor and irony in grave and serious matters (and yet still be pissed and depressed! ).
- i used to watch x-men, teenage mutant ninja turtles, transformers and whole lot of hbo when i was a kid. i saw uhm... adult-themed (?) movies with my parents, like schindler's list, the piano, death becomes her... i also broke our betamax (and most of our tape rewinders) a lot, since i kept playing the land before time, fantasia, looney tunes and the dark crystal over and over and over again.
- i love using chalk pastels, and then to preserve my work, i use hair spray as a fixative.
- i love movies by jim henson and frank oz. i also love movies by tim burton, hayao miyazaki and akira kurosawa.
- i did a lot of things when i was bored during my whole childhood. i used to read atlases and encyclopedias for fun. (i love reading about history and geography.) i played with legos, happy meal collectibles, sailor moon dolls, stuffed toys, action figures and matchbox cars with my sister and we'd build an imaginary city in our room.
- i am a fan of tamaki hiroshi x ueno juri. i am also a fan of toda erika x matsuda shota. even if they're seeing/married to different people or have broken up. i like japanese love teams. they're all so cute. what more can i say?
- i consult imaginary firends when dealing with personal issues. i never outgrew them. nina, who has been an imaginary friend for a decade now, helps out a lot. whoppy jumps with me whenever we feel like turning the bed into a trampoline.
